Job Title : Registered Nurse - NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)

Job Summary : We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at our esteemed healthcare facility in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to critically ill neonates, supporting their families, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care in a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide direct nursing care to neonates in the NICU, ensuring their health and well-being.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assist with medical procedures.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Assess, observe, and document the condition of newborns, noting any changes and communicating them effectively with the medical team.
• Educate and support parents and families about their baby's condition, treatment plans, and ongoing care.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of NICU equipment and medical devices.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and hospital policies at all times.
• Participate in training and development programs to continuously improve clinical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license from the UAE or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience, with a strong background in neonatal care.
• Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and neonatal resuscitation program (NRP) certifications are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NICU equipment, procedures, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient and family care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
