Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise midwifery staff to ensure efficient and safe patient care.
Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to mothers and newborns.
Assist and manage normal deliveries and support obstetricians during high-risk cases.
Develop duty rosters, assign responsibilities, and monitor staff performance.
Implement and monitor clinical protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
Handle patient admissions, assessments, documentation, and discharge processes.
Educate mothers on breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
Coordinate with obstetrics, pediatrics, and other relevant departments.
Participate in training, continuous education, and quality improvement programs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Midwifery (valid UAE license or eligibility: MOH/DHA/DOH).
Minimum 5-7 years of clinical midwifery experience, including at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or incharge role.
Strong knowledge of maternity care, labor management, and neonatal protocols.
Excellent leadership, communication, and patient-care skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced and emergency situations.
