The Regional Sales Manager position is responsible for driving the sales of our services cement industry. This is an individual contributor role working within our team \xe2\x80\x9cpod\xe2\x80\x9d structure reporting to the Head of Sales.

Job Location:

This vacancy will be based out of Sharjah - UAE .

Your responsibilities:

Act as the primary customer contact, building and maintaining strong relationships known for

excellent customer service.

Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share; build value propositions and ROI to differentiate FLSmidth.

Collaborate with internal teams to maximize sales potential and draft proposals.

Visit installation sites to consult with customers on equipment operations, replacement requirements and pending scope of work.

Manage expense account to keep costs in line with budgeted regional target while adhering to defined budget guidelines.

Complete regular entries and updates in CRM application to include contacts, appointments and opportunities.

Country overall responsible including budget goals with the agents within Middle east & Africa.

Manage agents and/or sub-agents, hereunder:

Show leadership values (morale, ethics, taking logical actions and working in FLSmidth\xe2\x80\x99s interests)

Set KPI\xe2\x80\x99s based on Agent Handler\xe2\x80\x99s overall KPI\xe2\x80\x99s.

Takes notice of agent\'s performance and follow up.

Follow up on customer visits.

Frequent face to face or remote meetings

Provide feedback on behavior and set directions.

Provide Sales Training to Agents

Be the single point for the Agents.

Collaborate with KAM (Export Sales) on Priority Customers

Shared budget

Collaborate on open proposal, closing orders, negotiation, outstanding payments etc.

Update meetings before visiting priority customers.

Travel with KAM to get closer to each other and strengthen the collaboration \xe2\x80\x93 Teamwork is key to success!

Customer visits with agents and/or sub-agents, hereunder:

Close orders, negotiating with customer, collecting overdue payment and Deciding payment terms.

100 visits each year with agents within given territory.

Coordinating with Capital Sales if customer is asking for activities out of the service portfolio.

What you bring:

Knowledge of industry & cement process equipment with specific knowledge and working experience on spare parts and services.

Proactive nature with effective communication & presentation skills in English & French written & spoken and strong problem-solving skills.

Eagerness to travel, 75% of time should be spent conducting visits to our customers.

Territory of coverage will be select cement accounts in Middle East and Africa.

Direct engagement and cement knowledge of these markets within this region as well as other industrial plants is a plus.

Education Qualification

B.S.c degree in Engineering from a reputed university.

Experience

8+ years of experience selling in the cement industry.
