The role As the Regional Sales Manager for Middle East, the potential candidate will be responsible for developing the QS business strategy and approach for the market and implementing the QS go-to-market strategy and sales approach in specific Arabic speaking countries. This will include establishing the market opportunity and growth plan that both drives revenue from institutions/ government, building the capabilities to achieve scalable growth, establishing long term strategic relationships by articulating our aspiration for growth, developing a QS approach that enables all products and services to be sold to a customer, and supporting renewals that ultimately drive strong revenue growth in this region.

Reporting to the Regional Director for Middle East & Africa for QS, the candidate will collaborate with each Business Unit and their retrospective Sales Leaders and will have oversight of all sales and operations activity in assigned regions and accounts. This includes identifying opportunities to drive growth and delivering on sales and revenue targets.
Role responsibilities:
  • Develop a 5-year QS growth plan for Middle East through establishing market and commercial opportunities drawing on relevant insights and data
  • Collaborate with each of the Business Unit and Sales Leaders, understand their specific deliverables and effectively support these with the strategy and a Regional go-to-market approach
  • Build the resources and capabilities to deliver scalable growth in the region and be a trusted advisor for institutions
  • Implement the appropriate sales infrastructure and processes to support a regional sales approach, establishing the customer life cycle from inception to on-boarding
  • Develop and enable the team to represent QS to senior level university and government stakeholders, and deliver on the regional strategy to deliver revenue growth, including thought leadership
  • Lead and manage in region resources supporting the market, providing clear direction on accountabilities and developing the team
  • Implement and create a series of data sets / dashboards to assess the impact of the regional approach in alignment with sales KPIs and revenue targets, sharing insights for product and service development And any other additional duties as required
Key skills and experience:
  • Sales experience in higher education or relevant consulting business in the region
  • Detailed understanding of Higher Education sector in Middle East preferably with knowledge of government relationships
  • Strong sales leadership experience including pipeline and opportunity management, forecasting, territory and account planning, multi-channel client communication, client relationship building and account management
  • Effectively bilingual in English both written and verbal
  • Added language skills in French would be highly beneficial
  • Successful track record of developing and implementing market strategies Track record of building and leading commercial teams
