Regional Sales Manager (RSM) - MENA Region

Experienced at leading a high performing team within the medical devices and healthcare technology arena? Highly driven with proven success? Stryker has a unique opportunity for a highly driven and experienced manager to lead their Medical portfolio business covering the Middle East, Turkey & North Africa markets.

The Stryker Medical business comprises of the Stryker Acute Care, Emergency Care, Sage and Vocera product portfolio. Stryker Medical develops best-in-class solutions that address critical issues affecting caregivers and patients within the Hospital and Pre-Hospital environments, including Emergency Response, Accident & Emergency, Resuscitation, Advanced Life Support, MedSurg Beds & Surfaces, infection and pressure sore prevention, and clinical communication and workflow optimization.

Based in Dubai, UAE, this individual will be responsible for a high value business segment and a highly driven team. The successful applicant will report directly to the Business Unit Director and be responsible to lead our sales teams and Indirect Channel Partners (ICPs) to drive the continued sales and growth success of the Medical business in the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Exceed & deliver quarterly, yearly budgets, managing capital and recurring revenue pipeline development alongside accurate forecasting vs. budget reporting directly into the Business Unit Director.
  • Manage, lead, and motivate a high performing sales team and support & drive both local & regional marketing & technical service teams
  • Develop executive relationships with ICPs across the region
  • Strategic and tactical approaches to business acceleration within the segment
  • Support and collaborate with enabling functional teams such as contracts & pricing, Compliance, Customer Service, RAQA and Accounting to ensure a smooth order to cash process is maintained and our customers receive the highest levels of service
  • Build strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders within government and private medical sectors.
  • Build clinical champions to support driving forward both current and future technology
  • Understand / utilize market dynamics to support business acceleration.
  • Take a creative approach to new business development for both current and future technologies and platforms.
  • Accurately forecast business and sales pipeline for entire region
  • Maintain and grow Stryker's brand equity in the marketplace.
Experience & Competencies
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • ICP management experience in the Middle East.
  • Demonstrable proven medical sales success within the medical device arena
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leading enterprise sales cycles with multiple stakeholders,
  • Displays a high degree of integrity in business practice and relationship management
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams; achieves organizational focus on key priorities, provides clear direction, delegates, actively communicates and coaches; a committed mentor, people developer and team builder
  • Executive presence and influencing skills: Demonstrated ability to effectively coach professional sales representatives on all aspects of the sales process including excellent negotiation and ability to close deals
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build positive, productive, and effective professional working relationships with internal teams and external partners
  • Degree in Business, Life-science, Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering or another relevant, advanced degree
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and preferable knowledge of CRM Systems
  • Healthcare IT and connected solutions understanding
