Job Title Regional Sales Manager

Description

Experienced regional sales manager required for a specialized critical communications company (i.e. digital and analogue PMR radios, repeaters, trunked networks, etc) who will be responsible for the following:
-Establishing sales targets by creating a sales plan and quota both locally and regionally
-Managing the sales cycle; guiding and monitoring field sales team and sub-distributors; organizing sales and service calls; finalizing TRA forms
-Maintaining and expanding customer base by counseling sales team, building & maintaining relationships with key customers and identifying new customer opportunities (including internationally)
-Identifying and managing a dealer network in GCC and MENA
-Achieving regional sales objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements; implementing change.
-Achieving financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions
-Forecasting sales to assist with inventory management and ensuring there is no time-lag in order fulfillment
-Developing solutions and sales demonstrations which are industry specific

Must have prior experience managing a sales team/dealer network, overseeing pipeline and allocating product mix/pricing in a regional context
Industry specific qualifications and experience strongly preferred: relevant degree and technical qualifications; experience with TRA, licensing and type approval for Analogue and Digital (Tetra) two-way radios; and familiarity with government tenders
Minimum 5 years experience required; Arabic speaker preferred
