About the Opportunity: Due to our continued growth in the region, Jacobs is hiring a Regional Quality Lead \xe2\x80\x93 Middle East. Reporting to the Regional Director of Projects, this position will see you as an integral part of the Middle East management team, providing an opportunity to work closely with Regional Leadership, Global Quality Teams and across all functions of the business in helping to ensure we do things right. You will lead the quality department in the Middle East, in developing and administering ongoing processes, procedures and associated timelines; and contribute to the motivation and development of the wider quality team through professional leadership. In the true spirit of collaboration, you will provide support and guidance on the successful implementation of the Jacobs Business Management System (BMS), as well as managing effective quality assurance/control mechanisms. This will include but not be limited to, training, oversight of the client feedback mechanisms, corrective and preventive action management, assessment and audit, measurement and analysis, and driving continuous improvement across all operations. Your role supports the implementation of strategies and processes to achieve quality objectives. You will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders that are responsible or accountable for meeting the quality objectives i.e. DPE, DO\xe2\x80\x99s, PM\xe2\x80\x99s and others. Your key responsibilities will be to: -
  • Support and facilitate the implementation of the Business Management System (BMS) including associated quality requirements
  • Update local strategy for project quality assurance/quality control, in line with regional and corporate quality program
  • Guide and provide functional support to QA/QC professionals to fulfill project QA/QC needs
  • Manage Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) across the region
  • Monitor key business processes including client feedback process, project initiation review, construction readiness review, CAPA management
  • Develop reports, analyze metrics and reports results, as well as proposing recommendations for continual improvement, and addressing emerging issues and trends.
  • Develops lessons learned, shares best practices, and initiate and direct actions to address improvement opportunities
  • Support and drive quality culture and continual improvement
  • Maintain ISO certifications
  • Conducts Quality training, provides leadership and supports establishment of quality culture
  • Collaborate with Corporate Quality leads to identify the need for new Quality tools, processes, policies and training as well as recommending improvements for existing tools, processes, policies, and training
  • Conduct routine Quality reviews and audits to ensure compliances, and recommend corrective / preventive action, as required
  • Support project/programmes as Quality Manager / start up as required from time to time
Success in this role will be measured by the delivery of the above objectives, as well as achieving the quality objectives outlined in the regional quality strategy. Here\xe2\x80\x99s What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need:
As a successful applicant you will be degree qualified and will ideally have experience of managing or leading a quality team/department within the engineering and construction sector, or if you operate in a management function where quality is integral to delivery e.g. Project Managers, Design Managers, etc. You will have a good awareness of quality standards and industry practices, as well as an understanding of other subject areas /disciplines; and how the quality department integrates across the organization and impacts the way we do things. Relevant industry certifications are desirable, however, the business can support in helping you to obtain them, to enable you to be successful in your job. The scope of work may span multiple locations, and from time to time may require work to be performed at project sites, where required. Routine travel is expected to various Jacobs operations including offices and project sites. Key Attributes:-
