The QHSE & Security Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with general company policy, standing orders, departmental policies and statutory regulations and recommend changes to working processes and conditions to ensure that all employees have a safe and healthy working environment and that the organization complies with all current and future regulations and laws, and the organization\xe2\x80\x99s safety policies and standards. The person in this role, must act as the Quality Management Representative within the region.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Monitor product standards and implement quality control systems.
  • Experience on closed loop quality solving processes and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Manage and report as appropriate on the status of QHSE & Security, attend and brief meetings at all levels with managers.
  • Carry out all internal audits for the management systems.
  • Control, investigate, resolve and report on Quality Complaints, internal and external for the MENA region.
  • Liaise with external bodies to enable full compliance of management systems with all legal, statutory and other requirements.
  • Monitor, maintain and report on the QMS and HSE MS for the MENA region.
  • Educate and train the organization\xe2\x80\x99s workforce on health and safety to ensure that they understand and comply with John Crane Global Quality and HSE policies & procedures.
  • Review the performance of subordinates; identify training needs, drive the use of Personal Development and Succession Plans.
  • Ensures quality & safety within functions/ tasks performed by himself/herself and staff reporting to him/her
  • Responsible for exercising due diligence towards health & safety of self and others within the organization
  • Ensures compliance with the applicable HSE instructions, requirements, laws and regulations received from customers, regulatory and statutory bodies.

The Individual
  • University degree in Quality Management or similar field or MBA
  • Extensive experience in Quality and Safety Management including a regional role
  • SAP knowledge
  • QHSE Regulations within the region
  • Good administrative and organization skills and detailed working knowledge of Health and Safety and risk
  • assessments.
  • Strong People management skills
  • Experience on closed loop quality solving processes and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Fluent English preferred. Speaking in Arabic is an advantage
