Currently, we are seeking for Regional MEA Head of Tender Management. In this role, the successful candidate will provide input to lead development and implementation of tender management strategy for the region to understand customer needs, develop competitive proposals and respond to tenders, opportunities and renewals in line with business strategy, financial and operational objectives, Group guidelines and policies.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the sub-function on a regional level
• Establish and implement strategies that have short to long-term (1-5 years) impact on business results in alignment with global and functional objectives

Job Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• Provide input to and lead development and implementation of tender management strategy for the region including planning, target customers, tools and budgets considering business strategy, financial and operational objectives, Group guidelines and policies
• Develop business processes and control delivery of tender management programs to understand customer needs, develop competitive proposals and respond to tenders, opportunities and renewals
• Ensure in-depth visibility to all key stakeholders on all upcoming RFQs, both within the commercial and also product stakeholders
• Proactive Pre RFQ engagement with Sales & product with a view to increase conversion Ratios on RFQ success
• RFQ Intelligence - Interface with stakeholders prior and during RFQ release Build and develop understanding of complex tender requirements, manage the bid and proposal development process
• Drive and manage the process for analysis, preparation and review of proposals to achieve highest quality standards and internal controls
• Define business process quality plans for effective performance management and reporting of tender management process in the region
• Lead collection and sharing of timely and accurate commercial, financial and technical information required for bid and proposal development
• Lead documentation of proposals and communication to relevant stakeholders according to regional standards
• Resolve complex customer problems and serve as a point of escalation
• Spearhead post proposal review process, drive Project Coordinators to enhance standards, identify good practices and continuously improve sub functional practices in the region
• Develop and introduce regional tender management practices and knowledge sharing of current product offerings
• Post RFQ Management across the entire tender, analyzing area’s for improvement
• Master’s degree
• More than 8 years of experience in relevant field
