Job Description

We are searching for a strong, reliable manager with excellent leadership skills and employment laws knowledge, to head-up a vehicle mapping project in the region. We are working with one of the leading technology companies in the world, helping them to collect map data using mobile mapping vehicles. We are looking for a Regional Manager in Dubai, UAE or Al Kharj, Saudi Arabia for a project spanning the GCC. United Arab Emirates or Saudi Arabian citizenship will get moved to the top of the list. Your duties would be to help plan and execute the project. Working with a team of operators and to drive the entire road network of the selected geographical locations to map them. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the project, leading the team to successful completion. You will be responsible for daily management of the team, reporting to the client, and problem-solving. You will be an outstanding communicator, with a proven track record in management and leadership. You will also demonstrate excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.

Responsibilities: Responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of the project Employee and Contractor Management Strategic Planning of the Project in the Assigned Countries and Regions Day-to-Day Management of the Team across all Regions Client Reporting Problem Solving Ensure the setup of Mapping Camps, as well as ramp-up and ramp-down functions Budgetary Control of the Expenditure of the Project Travel to Collection Regions to ensure the project is set up correctly and for any potential problems as required. Direct, daily communication to the customer to update status and changes in the field Primary responsibility for Logistics, Reporting, and Support of Operations

Requirements: Experience with working in all GCC countries, especially Saudi Arabia. Experience and knowledge of Saudi Arabia laws a huge plus. Bachelor's degree as a Minimum Requirement At least 10 years of Management Experience Experience of Managing Remote Teams Experience of Field Services Project Experience of Working with Large Multinational Corporations Ability to speak English fluently Ideally a background in GIS or Mapping High level of technical knowledge Excellent Local Business Knowledge Good level of Knowledge relating to Hiring Rules and Considerations Extensive Travel Experience in the Region and Experience of traveling throughout the United Arab Emirates Strong Excel and Project Management Software Skills Salary: Based on experience level Duration: 2-3 month with potential extension EEO Statement: The client is an equal opportunity employer.
