Job Description

Job purpose: The Regional IT Security and Network Manager will be responsible for management and administration of the infrastructure including Firewalls, WAF's, Network Switches, Routers, SD-WAN setup, Internet Leased line's etc. This role will also be responsible for managing the IT Continuity of the organization including Disaster Recovery orchestration, management, compliance with the audit and ensuring/participation in the execution of the related exercises on recurring basis. Leading and managing the team of IT security and Network specialists will be part of the responsibility. This role will also be required to manage specific infrastructure aspects related to the AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure and design as per requirements. The role requires excellent communication skills, ability to take ownership and analytical skills. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Vision: Provide architectural and design input to strategic direction for the development of the Data Communications Network and supporting Infrastructure environment. Collaborate within the CIO and CISO organizations, recommend enhancements to the information security and network infrastructure. Articulate a long-term vision for scaling our security operations to enable fast paced growth of the business Identification and rectification of poor or obsolete systems and/or practices & procedures To identify areas of cost saving and/or wastage and ensure that all systems are maintained in the most cost-efficient way without compromising on availability and performance. Technical & Operational management: Must be able to design, deploy, operate, monitor, maintain and troubleshoot Complex IP Networks and interconnected Network Security technologies including overall IT Network (LAN/WAN/WiFi/Mobile), Network Switches, Firewalls, intrusion detection/intrusion prevention, VPN, application control, antivirus, Anti-SPAM, and Application Load Balancing, Web Application Firewall, Endpoint Security etc. Strong understanding of common services (web, mail, FTP, DNS, etc.), network vulnerabilities and network attack patterns Manage the technical implementation of agreed initiatives working with all required parties to ensure successful delivery according to Stakeholder and/or Project Management Office criteria. Daily triage, and update/resolution of tickets generated by the IT ticketing system and respond to inbound phone and electronic requests for technical assistance. Follow project management methodology and demonstrate best practices in network & security documentation as required Handle the complete lifecycle management of global WAN (MPLS, SDWAN [Cisco Meraki] & Global Internet) services. Work collaboratively across a variety of business units to implement new technologies & projects, support existing platforms and requirements, and at times do so after normal business hours or during weekends/public holidays. Manage incidents/problems/changes for the network & security infrastructure, maintain vendor relationships, and assist operations with vendor escalation and issue resolution within the agreed SLA's. Develop and maintain toolset for capacity management of the network. Ensure patching, upgrading and vulnerability management is fully maintained. Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation Participate in internal and external audits related to the area of the role and execute necessary actions as per the timelines. IT Disaster Recovery Management: Lead the development and management of all disaster-recovery strategies in support of strategic business sustainability Work with Business Continuity management to ensure that the disaster recovery (crisis management) and business continuity plans drive disaster recovery (DR) strategy and procedures. Work with the IT technical staff to ensure that disaster recovery solutions are adequate, in place, maintained, and tested as part of the regular operational life cycle. Develop and understand all testing necessary for a successful DR execution. Schedule and lead all DR exercises. Represent disaster recovery cost requirements in the annual budgeting process. Regularly report Disaster Recovery activities to the CIO and CISO management. Team management & Work area management: Direct line management responsibilities - lead by example, set objectives, standards and procedures, coach and mentor team members. Actively communicate and promote the work of the Infrastructure Team within and beyond the IT Team. Management of and co-ordination with in-house and third party resources, prioritizing workload, tracking resource utilization. Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors/suppliers. Maintain contracts and department budget. Ensure team manages the execution of infrastructure changes in compliance with given guidelines and procedures. : Communication and Soft Skills Proven team management skills Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Critical and analytical thinking and creativity Conflict Resolution - ability to resolve problems and complex situations Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED25,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
