Job Description

As a Regional Business Manager, you will lead commercial growth across your assigned territory, identifying opportunities, building high-level customer relationships, and aligning daily with distributor/partner teams. You'll plan and prioritize sales activities, develop account plans, and use sales data to target high-potential accounts.
The Regional Business Manager strengthens loyalty with existing customers, drives new business through professional selling and negotiation, and coordinates end-to-end support (logistics, complaints, service). You will initiate sales and marketing actions in line with the activity plan, negotiate contracts and tenders within guidelines, and deliver consistent coverage of target customers to achieve sales and contribution goals.

Regional Business Manager - Job Responsibilities:

  • Effectively plan and prioritise sales activities and customer contact, deliver sales targets, and achieve business objectives using agreed company sales tools and systems to analyse, report, and monitor.
  • Create Account Plans for selected customers in order to define, target, and exploit business opportunities.
  • Use available sales figures to identify and prioritize target accounts, and develop an action plan to maximize sales and grow the business.
  • To develop business relationships with key stakeholders within the defined accounts.
  • Keep and develop existing customers by constantly meeting their demands and increasing their loyalty in order to maximise sales and profit in the district.
  • Initiate sales and marketing activities in line with the activity plan in order to exploit business opportunities so that sales and profit targets can be met.
  • Negotiate contracts/tenders with the defined customers, including pricing, in line with guidelines and procedures in order to meet customer needs and company objectives.
  • Cooperate with the distributor/partners teams in terms of alignment and day-to-day activities, projects, and sales.
  • Support the customer in areas outside the products, like logistics, complaint handling, etc., in order to meet customer needs and company objectives.
  • Use professional selling skills and negotiation skills to develop the business with both existing and new customers, optimising the quality of service and customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver agreed activity rates to ensure coverage and frequency of target customers and to drive sales of the portfolio.
Regional Business Manager - Job Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 - 4 years' experience as an account manager, sales manager, sales supervisor, or a similar commercial role.
  • 2 to 3 years of Leadership experience and a good track record of people development.
  • Medical background
  • Relevant healthcare experience, preferably within a wound care or medical device environment.
  • Highly developed communication and presentation skills.
  • A proven track record in account management is desirable; selling to procurement-level customers is essential.
