Regional 3PL - Distribution Center Manager (New Health Care Company)

3M is establishing two industry-leading companies, creating value through the spin-off of its Health Care business, while 3M will continue to be a global material science leader, focusing our innovation to win in favorable global megatrends and attractive end markets. This new Health Care Company will be a leading global diversified health technology company with:

The Impact You\xe2\x80\x99ll Make in this Role

As a Regional 3PL - Distribution Center Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Lead the DC network consisting of 3-5 DCs in the region and central logistics organization supporting the sites in the daily operational work.
• Monitor performance of external 3PL partner from cost, service and quality perspective and ensure the best service to the customers.
• Monitor internal KPIs and provide monthly reports with the results and action plans.
• Act as the point of contact for leadership team, sales organization, customer service, transportation, finance, audit teams, corporate quality and other internal departments.
• Interact between 3PL and internal departments to ensure proper communication flow and align on the operational priorities for the 3PL.
• Promote seamless collaboration across all business functions, fostering open, transparent, and respectful teamwork.
• Ensure compliance with all company, customers and government/regulatory requirements Monitor the interface between systems and resolve connectivity issues ensuring that all orders are transmitted and processed to 3PLs WMS.
• Identify and implement improvement and productivity projects in cooperation with 3PL or internal departments to drive processes efficiencies and cost savings.
• Manage the process for maintaining system data with the highest accuracy and reliability.
• Supply data and analysis to support the business decisions.
• Develop team strengths and support the growth of the organization.

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• 5 years of professional experience in Logistics/Supply Chain field, preferably in an international environment.
• Bachelor\'s degree in Logistics/Supply Chain/Business (a Master degree will be an asset)
• Project management experience, team leading skills and change management awareness.
• Practical experience with supply chain technology, including SAP and WMS, also MS Office.
• Familiarity with European and global pharmaceutical distribution regulation will be an asset.
• Willingness to learn and take on responsibility in a demanding and fast-changing environment, proactive and positive mindset.
• Strong communication skills.
• Fluent in English (second foreign language knowledge will be an asset).
• Results & customer oriented.
