Operation and Maintenance

- Timely completion of PPM and CM works, ensures the team does the work diligently and as per the maintenance checklists.

- Receive WO updates from technicians of all shifts, update in CMMS with name of resource used, labor hours, spare parts and tools used, and closeout WO

- Runs the plant and equipment efficiently and with minimum downtime.

- Recommends critical spare parts to Sr Engineer for purchase

Sub-contractor and Staff management

- Supervise the Contractors under AMC, plan PPM activities, coordinate timely rectification of breakdowns

- Reviews the Contractors' work completion, approves or rejects the work quality.

- Teach, guide and mentor the technicians on best practices, work management

- Manages duty roster, ensures that the staff are assigned duties as per their individual strengths and weaknesses

Capability Description

Good communication in English, both spoken and written

Focuses on delivering objectives of tasks / job assignments with minimal supervision

Capable of reading electrical, refrigeration, piping drawings, identify critical spare parts

Approachable, exhibits positive and welcoming attitude

Ensures respect & professionalism in all interactions

Has high degree of knowledge on industrial refrigeration process

JOB SPECIFICATION

Education:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, specialisation in Refrigeration.

Technical Skills:

- High level of knowledge of industry standards, ability to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints, sketches, building

- High level of knowledge of Refrigeration Systems (Ammonia screw compressors, evaporative condensers, glycol centrifugal pumps, compressed air systems, snow making system)

Industry Experience:

12 years working experience in GCC, Either in Snow Parks or as Engineer in OEM companies of refrigeration machines

Management Skills:

Should be able to independently handle assigned works and lead the team to success. Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations

Personal Qualities:

Team-Player

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; effectively manage time and meet deadlines with limited supervision

Self-motivated, Interpersonal, initiative, analytical thinking, decision making abilities.

Technology Skills:

Proficient in use of SCADA

Language Skills:

English language proficiency is a must, Arabic language proficiency is an advantage

Communication Skills:

Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
