Job Summary

We are seeking an Engineer I to join the West Hub Division of the LTC Business & Project Development Department. The division will be primarily responsible for the activities of West HUB Project Development under the Liquid to Chemicals Program (LTC) and drive the development of project assessment, and the delivery of project requirements during FEL I, FEL II and FEL III. Additionally, the function will be solely responsible for leading the formation & activities of the Integrated Project Team (ITP), the formation of project steering committee or equivalent committees to drive major project decisions. The candidate will ensure implementation of work in accordance with the project scope, set plans, and handle contingencies that arise during execution.

Responsibilities:

• Strong operational experience in the chemicals/polymer/steam cracker field.
• Background in refinery and chemicals integration.
• Understanding of process yields, qualities, economics, and capital efficiency.
• Extensive experience in capital project development for chemicals plants, with a focus on Pre-FEED/FEED development.
• Knowledge and experience in execution and commercial aspects of the industry.

Requirements:

• This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
• Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering from a recognized and approved program.
• Minimum of 13+ years of experience in the Refining & Chemicals business and their integration.
• Previous experience in Project Engineering, Design, and Execution for chemicals plants.
• Capable of providing technical input to LP (Linear Programming) and economics.
• Experience in Chemicals derivative process licensor selection and technology analysis.
