Receptionists handle a variety of administrative support tasks, such as managing incoming calls, directing emails to appropriate personnel, welcoming visitors, and handling mail distribution.
Key accountabilities:
Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls and emails.
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing.
Monitoring office supplies and ordering replacements.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant IT software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Proactive and positive attitude, able to work calmly under pressure.
Highly organized and efficient in managing tasks and priorities.
