Job Description

Position Summary

The Receptionist will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the sports complex reception and perform all reception and facility related duties whilst promoting and maintaining a welcoming, safe and secure environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure the timely opening/closing of the facility, welcoming users and preparing activity sites for sports programs, daily sessions and special events.
  • Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the sports complex reception and perform all reception/facility related duties including user sign in/out processes and providing information regarding the usage of the facility, rules and regulations, code of conduct and other general information.
  • Record and file inventory reports, users statistical reports, equipment/accessories distribution data and various SARD forms systematically.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing, documentation and recording of all procurement related matters including receiving/distribution of items, SARD committee meeting minutes, LPO\'s/delivery notes, annual contracts, requisitions and annual inventory reports.
  • Provide operational support in the areas of sports programs, facility related matters, maintenance and logistical needs.
  • Assist the Supervisor with procurement, storage and distribution of uniforms and sports accessories
  • Ensure the safety and security of all users and manage emergency operations according to the SARD and university policies and procedures including seeking medical attention, providing first aid, emergency evacuation procedures, completion of injury/accident reports.
  • Provide support with the SARD digital platform when required.
  • Monitor the student employees and assist with the recruitment of students and orientation. Make sure that the students are well informed about the policies of SARD, rules/regulations of the facility usage etc.
  • Perform other subsidiary duties assigned by the Supervisor/Director.
Qualifications and Skills Required
  • Bachelor\'s degree
  • Experience of providing excellent customer service in a customer facing role
  • Experience of administration, document processing and management
  • Experience in Office360
  • Basic Health & Safety knowledge
  • Able to work between 10am - midnight Monday to Thursday and 10am - 8pm Saturday to Sunday on a rotation basis.
