- Attends work on time as scheduled.

- Follows hotel standards regarding personal hygiene

- Minimizes dangers by following all safety rules and regulations

\xc3\x82Maintains a favorable reputation of the Radisson Blu Hotel at all times.

\xc3\x82Maximizes rooms\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99 revenue and sales for the hotel.

\xc3\x82Provides courteous service to customers by operating the switchboard according to standards. Communicates clearly and courteously.

\xc3\x82Demonstrates fluency in the use of the equipment.

\xc3\x82Transfers incoming calls promptly to the appropriate extension.

\xc3\x82Takes and delivers accurate and complete messages.

\xc3\x82Ensures customer is awakened as requested by accepting, recording and executing wake-up calls.

\xc3\x82Checks the daily arrival/occupancy list.

\xc3\x82Maintains high confidentiality in regards to guest privacy.

\xc3\x82Keeps a logbook for the telephone function and updates logbook for next shift.

\xc3\x82Is aware for current room availability.

\xc3\x82Is fully aware of the hotel\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s current promotions and activities.

\xc3\x82Maintains own working area and materials clean, tidy and in good shape, reports defective materials and equipment to the Assistant Front Office Manager.

\xc3\x82Continuously seeks and endeavors professionalism in own job function.

\xc3\x82Knows what action should be taken when an emergency call is requested and received.
  • Each Receptionist/Cashier has a float of AED 5000.
  • All the guest bill transactions should be entered in Opera system.
  • The cashier shift report should be printed & tallied against all the transactions, in order to ensure the transactions are accurate.
  • Sale done should be dropped in an envelope.
