The Entry Clerk / Inventory Staff is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date data entry related to inventory, sales, suppliers, and internal records to ensure smooth supermarket operations and reliable reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Enter daily sales, purchase, and stock data into POS / ERP systems Maintain and update inventory records with high accuracy Create, update, and manage product master data (item codes, prices, barcodes, promotions) Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales and stock reports Verify, cross-check, and reconcile data entries to ensure correctness Coordinate with inventory, purchasing, and accounts teams to maintain accurate records Handle new item creation, price updates, and promotional changes in the system Ensure proper filing, backup, and security of all data and documents Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business and employee information Assist in basic IT troubleshooting related to billing and back-office systems Monitor system backups and ensure timely updates Coordinate with suppliers to collect and update product information when required
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (computer training or certification is an advantage) Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk / Inventory Staff or similar role, preferably in retail or supermarket operations Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and POS / ERP systems Excellent typing speed with strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines Team-oriented with good communication skills
