Data Entry Clerk cum Accountant & Administrative Assistant
to manage financial data entry, maintain accurate records, and assist with basic accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry & Record Keeping
Accurately enter financial data (invoices, transactions) into accounting systems.
Maintain and update databases, spreadsheets, and financial records.
Verify data accuracy and correct discrepancies.
Organize and file financial documents (digital and physical).
Accounting Support
Assist in accounts payable/receivable processing.
Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and bank reconciliations.
Support payroll processing and tax documentation.
Generate basic financial reports (e.g., balance sheets, income statements).
Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation.
Report discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
Administrative Tasks
Respond to vendor/customer inquiries regarding payments.
Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: Fresher or 1 year experience in data entry, bookkeeping, or accounting.
