We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Rebar Engineer

to join our contracting company. The candidate will be responsible for preparing rebar shop drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and coordinating with site teams to ensure accurate implementation of reinforcement works in compliance with project specifications, structural drawings, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Review structural drawings and prepare rebar shop drawings. Develop accurate bar bending schedules (BBS) for reinforcement works. Coordinate with consultants, structural engineers, and site teams for technical clarifications. Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and quality standards. Conduct site inspections to verify reinforcement installation as per approved drawings. Resolve technical issues related to rebar detailing and placement. Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely submission of drawings and schedules.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in rebar detailing and BBS preparation (preferably in contracting companies). Strong knowledge of structural drawings, codes, and standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD, CADS RC, or other rebar detailing software. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
