Real Estate Strategy Manager - Banking Premises and Leasing Dubai
Position Overview
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking an experienced Real Estate Strategy Manager to lead the development and execution of real estate strategies aligned with the bank's growth objectives. This role oversees lease negotiations, ATM rental management, notional rent reporting, and collaboration with project teams for fit-out execution across UAE and international locations.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement the bank's real estate strategy aligned with business expansion plans
  • Lead negotiations for new leases and rental renewals for branches, offices, and ATM sites in UAE and overseas
  • Administer notional rent reporting and ensure alignment with Group Finance
  • Collaborate with the Projects team on fit-out works, permit acquisition, and coordination of handover logistics
  • Ensure all Central Bank, legal, and risk approvals are in place for openings, closures, and relocations
  • Monitor market rental trends and ensure current agreements remain competitive
  • Maintain strong relationships with landlords and external real estate consultants
  • Track and manage lease payments, deposits, and ensure timely processing to avoid reputational or financial impact
  • Act as the single point of contact for premises-related governance, audits, KRI monitoring, RCA development, and expense tracking
  • Contribute to ICV documentation efforts in coordination with Group Finance
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance
  • 6-10 years of experience in banking, with solid exposure to real estate and lease administration
  • Strong knowledge of lease contracts, accounting processes, and financial coordination
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and English (written and spoken)
