About the role Work Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (AE)Reporting To: RD&A Manager Key responsibilities . Develop innovative solutions to help grow customer and Kerry's market within cost parameters, manufacturing capability whilst ensuring all new products are legal within country of use. Managing projects/briefs as allocated ensuring deadlines are met.. Coordinating launches of new products & running trials at Kerry manufacturing sites . Provide our customers with the best available products through developing an understanding the market, manufacturing capabilities, ingredient restrictions etc. A customer facing role which requires product & market awareness to ensure that trends are identified. . Supports RD&A with analyses, tests and insights. . Working with senior team members supports feasibility studies, development and scale up/ production trials. . Ensures that ingredient functionality will meet customer expectations. . Documents all research notes in computer databases and records key learnings. Qualifications and skills . Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or similar.. Minimum 1 year working experience in a flavour house or food processing company.. Previous experience within the snacks category will be a bonus.. Operates in a testing laboratory, food science or flavour laboratory environment. . Must be able to handle non-Halal ingredients. Able to write and speak in Arabic would be preferred.
