Research & Development Specialist
to support advanced manufacturing and materials-focused projects within one of its industrial portfolio companies. This role is afull-time, onsite assignment based in Iran
, focused on research, process improvement, and quality optimization in a glass manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities
Support material- and process-focused R&D activities in manufacturing operations Analyze production challenges including defects, breakage, yield loss, and efficiency issues Conduct laboratory testing, controlled experiments, and production trials Apply materials science and engineering principles to improve product quality and consistency Use data-driven and analytical tools to support research and optimization efforts Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams Prepare technical documentation, reports, and improvement recommendations
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in R&D, Materials Science, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering Strong background in
materials science
(glass, ceramics, or related materials preferred) Experience working in industrial or production environments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to translate technical findings into practical solutionsLanguage Requirement
Professional working proficiency in
English
