More about this role What you need to know about this position: As R&D MENAP BU Lead , you provide the BU interface with region and global R&D leadership teams to ensure global platforms, expertise, insights, policies and best practices are shared with teams and support BU Strategy. You are Accountable for delivering and build RD technical programs . You will work with a cross-functional partner to define, initiate and lead teams to successfully deliver business goals using technical rigor, consumer centricity and best practices while effectively allocating resources and prioritizing workloads I nfluencing skills to educate business stakeholders about technical risks, ensuring mitigation plans, clear communication and understanding to allow for effective cross-functional decision making. You will also create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications. Demonstrate your own high levels of technical rigor and expertise and that of your team by tapping into internal and external resources to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and to continuously identify opportunities for improvement, keeping in mind consumers\xe2\x80\x99 wants and needs. Recruit, retain and develop a team of direct and indirect reports to ensure highest team performance, and mentor and coach your team and others to grow capability and support career development, managing remotely. Education / Certifications:
  • University degree in food related technical field (Food Science, Chemical engineering, or other relevant applied sciences)
  • Experience working in cross-functional, multi-disciplined teams operating in a dynamic, outcome-oriented environment
  • Strong technical background and effective communication skills , including proven
Job specific requirements:
  • 15+ years in related technical area (product/pack/process development) with demonstrated cross-category & cross-geography experience and understanding of business linkages in a global operating model
  • 7+ years experience in team management
  • Ability to motivate in remote environment
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Multi-discipline experience within R&D functions highly advantageous
  • Business acumen and position in leadership team highly advantageous
Work schedule: Full Time

No Relocation support available, however for candidates voluntarily moving internationally some minimal support is offered through our Volunteer International Transfer Policy
