The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialists are supporting a leading European consultancy and are requiring a RAMS Manager for rail projects in the UAE
The RAMS Manager will be responsible for overseeing the RAMS activities on the project, ensuring that the project meets the highest standards of safety, reliability, availability, and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the RAMS plan and processes for the project.
Manage the RAMS team and ensure that all RAMS activities are carried out effectively.
Conduct RAMS analysis, including Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Reliability Block Diagrams (RBD).
Ensure that the RAMS requirements of the project are met, including reliability targets, availability targets, and safety targets.
Liaise with other members of the project team to ensure that RAMS issues are properly addressed.
Identify and mitigate RAMS risks and hazards throughout the project life cycle.
Provide RAMS training to the project team and stakeholders as required.
Manage RAMS documentation and reporting.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor\'s degree in engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 12 years of experience in RAMS engineering on large transportation projects, preferably on rail projects.
Strong knowledge of RAMS principles and methods, including FMECA, FTA, and RBD.
Experience in conducting RAMS analysis and developing RAMS reports and Safety Cases.
Knowledge of international RAMS standards and regulations, such as EN 50126, EN 50128, and EN 50129.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Previous experience in managing RAMS teams is highly desirable.
