Perform a range of radiographic examinations as directed by the Radiologist and Senior Technician
Determine necessary Radiologic examinations based on requests and physicians' instructions
Handle patients at the reception and provide clear instructions to patients, reducing anxiety and ensuring cooperation during procedures
Assist in positioning patients on examination tables for accurate imaging
Operate radiologic equipment proficiently to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Ensure radiologic equipment is properly positioned and controls are adjusted for each examination
Maintain and uphold radiation safety measures for the well-being of patients and team members
Conduct repeat imaging for studies that do not meet established standards
Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions to the Senior Radiology Technician
Perform administrative tasks, including form completion, labeling films, and maintaining supplies for examinations
Qualification
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology / Diagnostic Imaging / Radiography.
Must obtain a QCHP (Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners) License or be eligible for it.
Strong understanding of radiation safety and diagnostic imaging techniques.
Proven experience as a Radiology Technician in a hospital, laboratory, and radiology centre.
