The Radiology Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the radiology department, ensuring high-quality imaging services, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient staff management. The role involves supervising radiology technologists, maintaining imaging standards, and coordinating with physicians and management to deliver optimal patient care.
Key Job Responsibilities
Supervise patient handling at reception
Ensure quality control and quality assurance standards
Implement safety policies and hazardous material management
Maintain accurate examination records
Monitor vital signs and report abnormalities
Supervise reporting of results and critical findings
Oversee equipment maintenance and performance checks
Ensure protocol compliance
Troubleshoot radiology equipment issues
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Radiologic Technology or Medical Imaging
Valid QCHP Practice License
Radiation Safety certification (preferred)
Minimum
5-7 years
of experience in radiology services.
At least
2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
preferred.
Experience in hospital, diagnostic center, or multi-specialty clinic in GCC/Qatar is an advantage
