• Accurately receives and passes on all communications (including telex and fax) between Barges, Supply boats and other vessels
• Prepares, copies, submits to supervisor and distributes to all relevant parties the Midnight Daily Marine Spread Report.
• Maintains a Satellite Phone register and Radio Log.
• Maintains a 24 hrs Channel 16 watch, notes and issues Navigational warnings and relays to section head and vessel captains.
• Maintains constant contact with the helicopter during barge arrival/departure process and during infield work to ensure that all relevant information is relayed for operational and safety purposes.
• Facilitates personal calls and maintains a Personal Calls Report.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Radio Operators Licence (GOC) or minimum of 2 years radio/telecommunications experience
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Excellent information retention and communication ability.
• Works well in a multi-cultural and multi-national environment.
