Accurately receives and passes on all communications (including telex and fax) between Barges, Supply boats and other vessels
Prepares, copies, submits to supervisor and distributes to all relevant parties the Midnight Daily Marine Spread Report.
Maintains a Satellite Phone register and Radio Log.
Maintains a 24 hrs Channel 16 watch, notes and issues Navigational warnings and relays to section head and vessel captains.
Maintains constant contact with the helicopter during barge arrival/departure process and during infield work to ensure that all relevant information is relayed for operational and safety purposes.
Facilitates personal calls and maintains a Personal Calls Report.

Qualifications:
Radio Operators Licence (GOC) or minimum of 2 years radio/telecommunications experience
Fluent written and spoken English.
Excellent information retention and communication ability.
Works well in a multi-cultural and multi-national environment.
