Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum
5 years of proven experience
in heavy and critical lifting planning within the
Oil & Gas industry
.
Strong knowledge of lifting equipment, crane types, and rigging principles.
Preferred experience in
Offshore Jacket/Topside/Riser Tower fabrication yard and installation projects
.
Demonstrated experience in
supervising critical and heavy lifts
.
Expertise in developing
AutoCAD lifting plans
for both critical and non-routine lifts.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Membership in
LEEA
(Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) or equivalent certification.
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare
lifting plans
based on site verification using AutoCAD and submit lifting plan packages with relevant documentation for client approval, in line with company lifting procedures.
Promote
safe handling and lifting operations
in accordance with company HSE policy and international standards.
Assess, analyze, plan, and execute lifting operations on-site, ensuring compliance with company standards.
Review scope of work and verify
lifting equipment requirements
.
Maintain a
systematic and methodological approach
to all lifting operations.
Ensure lifting equipment has the
required capacity
for safe execution of lifting activities.
Provide
coaching, mentoring, and training
for Rigging Supervisors, Rigging Foremen, and Riggers.
Participate in
internal audits
, lifting operations incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
* Lead lifting teams on-site, ensuring all lifting operations are executed safely with full hazard identification and control measures in place.
