Job Summary:

We are seeking an innovative and analytical

R&D Executive

to support research and development initiatives in the extraction industry. The role focuses on enhancing extraction techniques, improving processing efficiency, and developing sustainable and cost-effective solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scientific research, materials science, chemical engineering, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct technical research and feasibility studies to improve extraction and processing methods. Support the design, development, and testing of new technologies or equipment related to extraction. Analyze material properties, geological data, and process efficiencies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and environmental compliance. Develop prototypes or experimental setups for lab-scale and field trials. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and scientific publications. Monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory developments. Assist in patent applications, IP management, and technology transfer. Ensure R&D activities comply with environmental, safety, and industry regulations. Contribute to sustainability initiatives such as waste reduction, energy efficiency, or carbon footprint minimization.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, Materials Science, Geology, or a related discipline. (PhD preferred for research-focused roles.) 3 years of R&D or technical research experience in the extraction or heavy industry sector. Strong understanding of extraction technologies (e.g., hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy, drilling technologies, separation techniques, etc.). Hands-on experience with lab instrumentation, testing methods, and data analysis. Excellent technical writing and documentation skills. Familiarity with safety protocols, industry standards, and environmental regulations.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of sustainable or green extraction technologies. Experience in pilot-scale project management or industrial trials. Proficiency in statistical tools, modeling software, or simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Aspen Plus, COMSOL). Ability to translate research findings into practical, scalable solutions.
