We are looking for a
Quantity Surveyor-Pipeline (Site)
for one of our clients with the following details:Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Location: Abu Dhabi - UAE
Qualifications & Experience Required
Master - undergraduate Quantity surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. 8+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the oil and gas industry. Strong understanding of construction contracts and cost estimation methodologies.
Activities:
Prepare Cost Estimates for all phases of pipeline construction, from feasibility to execution. Analyse Engineering Drawings to extract quantities and assess material and labor requirements. Manage Tendering Processes including issuing inquiries, evaluating quotations, and assisting in contract awards. Monitor Budgets and Expenditures to ensure alignment with financial forecasts. Evaluate Subcontractor Claims and progress payments in accordance with contractual agreements. Track Variations and Change Orders, ensuring proper documentation and cost recovery. Support Final Account Closure by preparing and reconciling final cost reports and contractual settlements.
