Job Description

The requirement to work for an interior design & fit-out company delivering projects across Dubai. The role is for an Estimator / QS to work on fit-out projects delivering villa renovations and turnkey commercial fit-out.
Successful Candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of experience and a background working with fit-out companies within the UAE. The role will be to support the project team with the following requirements.

Excellent communication skills and written and spoken English is essential.

Requirements

To be considered for the role:

Must be able to understand drawings & details, material finishes and construction material requirements.
Preparing the scope of work based on surveys carried out by engineers
Must have experience in quantity take-offs and project estimation
Work alongside the design team to establish project requirements
MEP and joinery experience required
Supervising surveys and interpreting third-party surveys.
Maintaining supplier/subcontractor database and consistently seeking new companies to pre-qualify for inclusion on the tender list.
Develops bid cost estimates for the specified deadlines for submission
Excellent attention to detail and forward-thinking.
