Job description A. Duties as the Site Quantity Surveyor will be: \xc2\xb7 Maintaining a variation log that tracks the status of all variations, substantiation, negotiation, and agreement of variations with Design, Technical and QS Department. \xc2\xb7 Effective commercial control of all subcontract packages including provision of timely and accurate documentation. \xc2\xb7 To evaluate and certify the quantity of work done before any certification of sub-contractor/supplier payment and conduct re-measurement/site measurement if required \xc2\xb7 Ensuring that the procurement of sub-contractors and suppliers is undertaken in a timely and cost-effective manner. \xc2\xb7 Careful administration of subcontractor accounts - Review, evaluation, and certification of sub-contractor payment application. \xc2\xb7 Responsible for keeping the Commercial Manager informed of the progress of all subcontractor accounts through to their finalization. \xc2\xb7 Ensuring that payments / notices are issued in accordance with the subcontract and Construction Act and, ensure any commercial threats to projects are identified swiftly and communicated to the Commercial Manager. \xc2\xb7 Attending meetings (pre orders, design meetings, package review meetings) and ensuring that surveying information and cost advice is provided in an accurate and proficient manner. \xc2\xb7 Ensure prompt and regular submission of main contract Interim payment application along with supporting documents and negotiate with consultant to receive timely certification. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge in Joinery (plus) B. As Site Quantity Surveyor, you must have: 1. The candidate should have minimum 4-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Interior Turn-Key Interior Fit out, Joinery as QS / Procurement 2. Candidate should possess Diploma/Bachelor\'s Degree in Quantity Surveying/Architecture. 3. Good in self-organized, responsible, and able to multi-tasks 4. Good analytical and communication skills 5. Attention to details and independent 6. Driving License (REQUIRED) 7.
