Job Description

Job Purpose:

To prepare monthly progress payments and provide commercial support for water pipeline and infrastructure projects, ensuring effective budget control, accurate reporting, and compliance with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

Review project specifications, drawings, and contract documents. Liaise with the site team to record daily progress and prepare monthly progress payments in coordination with the Consultant Engineer. Prepare interim payment applications and final accounts for submission to clients. Assist in preparing cost estimates and bills of quantities (BOQ). Develop and monitor project budgets, cash flow, and cost control reports. Measure, value, and certify subcontractor works. Evaluate variations, claims, and change orders in line with contract requirements. Conduct site visits to verify completed works against submitted claims. Prepare detailed monthly cost and value reconciliation reports. Provide commercial and financial input for project progress reports. Support management in strategic decision-making with accurate cost and commercial data

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline. 3-5 years' experience in quantity surveying for water pipeline and infrastructure projects within the UAE/GCC. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, QS software, and online project portals. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
