Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial control for construction and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, and timeline, providing accurate cost forecasts and contractual management.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis.
Manage and monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and analyze tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies.
Negotiate with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with contractual and legal obligations.
Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify quantities.
Prepare valuation reports, variation claims, and final accounts.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients.
Maintain accurate records of project costs and documentation.
Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects.
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience (typically 3+ years) as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and procurement.
Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, MS Excel).
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of local building codes and standards.
