Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Quantity Surveyor with MEP experience
to manage the cost and commercial aspects of our mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects. The ideal candidate will ensure project cost control, contract compliance, and accurate quantity take-offs for all MEP systems across various stages of design and construction.Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Contract Stage:
Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate MEP quantity take-offs and cost estimates. Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost plans. Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and prepare cost comparisons. Participate in tender evaluations and negotiations.
Post-Contract Stage:
Measure and value MEP works executed on-site. Prepare monthly payment applications and valuation reports. Track project costs and ensure adherence to budgets and forecasts. Identify and report on cost variations and prepare variation claims (VOs). Assist in the preparation of interim and final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
Contracts & Documentation:
Administer MEP subcontracts in accordance with contractual terms. Ensure documentation is in line with project, client, and regulatory requirements. Support the project team with contractual and commercial advice.
