Job Description
We are looking for a skilled
Quantity Surveyor (MEP)
to join our team and take charge of cost management and contractual aspects ofMechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works
within our construction projects.Responsibilities
Prepare and review MEP cost estimates, tender documents, and pricing schedules. Analyze design drawings, BOQs, and specifications for accurate budgeting. Assist in vendor/subcontractor selection, quotation analysis, and rate evaluation. Participate in value engineering to achieve cost and design efficiency. Monitor and track MEP-related costs to ensure compliance with budgets. Review and process subcontractor interim payments, variations, and change orders. Coordinate with site engineers for measurement and valuation of works. Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and maintain final accounts. Support in claims, disputes, and contract administration related to MEP scope.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in
Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
4-8 years
of experience as a Quantity Surveyor specializing inMEP works
. Proven expertise in MEP packages (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, electrical, ELV). Proficient inAutoCAD, MS Excel, and QS software
Familiarity with standard contracts such asFIDIC or local equivalents
. Strong negotiation, analytical, and reporting skills.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
