Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and update
Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
, cost estimates, and tender documentation for MEP packages. Analyze and assesssupplier and subcontractor quotations
for accuracy and competitiveness. Monitor MEP-relatedproject costs
to ensure adherence to budgets and forecast expenditures. Managevariations, change orders, and claims
, ensuring they are properly documented and evaluated. Reviewsubcontractor invoices
, verify completed works, and assist in processing payment certifications. Coordinate withproject teams, consultants, procurement, and site engineers
to ensure commercial alignment. Supportvalue engineering
initiatives to reduce cost while maintaining technical integrity. Prepareinterim payment applications
, final accounts, and supportcash flow forecasting
. Ensure compliance withcontractual obligations
, project specifications, andlocal authority regulations
. Participate in contract negotiations, tender evaluations, and procurement planning.Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in
Quantity Surveying
, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field.Professional certification
(MRICS, RICS, AIQS, or equivalent) is an advantage. Minimum6-8 years of experience
in MEP quantity surveying, withat least 4 years in the GCC
. Solid understanding ofMEP systems
, contract law, and construction methodologies. Proficiency inQS tools/software
such asMS Excel
. Experience withinternational contract standards
like FIDIC is preferred. Strongnegotiation, communication, and analytical skills
. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in afast-paced environment
. Valid GCCdriving license
