Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and update

Bills of Quantities (BOQs)

,

cost estimates

, and

tender documents

in accordance with project requirements. Develop detailed

cost plans

, budgets, and pricing strategies for current and future civil/infrastructure projects. Evaluate quotations from

suppliers and subcontractors

, ensuring competitive pricing and scope compliance. Monitor project expenditures and provide timely

cost tracking reports

to ensure financial alignment with project goals. Manage and process

interim payment applications

,

progress valuations

, and

final account settlements

. Identify, assess, and resolve

variations

,

change orders

, and other commercial claims in a proactive manner. Coordinate closely with consultants, engineers, and project teams to maintain transparency and commercial consistency. Support

procurement activities

, including scope development, vendor evaluation, and tender analysis. Conduct

on-site quantity verifications

and measure completed works to support progress claims and certifications. Ensure full compliance with

contractual terms

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in

Quantity Surveying

,

Civil Engineering

, or a related field. Professional membership or certification (e.g.,

RICS

,

AIQS

,

CIQS

) is a strong advantage. Minimum

6-8 years

of experience in

civil and infrastructure projects

, with a solid QS background. Strong knowledge of

construction methodologies

,

local market rates

, and

contract law

. Proficient in industry-standard QS tools such as

MS Excel

, and

AutoCAD

. Familiarity with international standard contracts such as

FIDIC

,

JCT

, or

NEC

. Excellent analytical, commercial, and negotiation skills. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
