Join STS Group as our next Quantity Surveyor (MEP) in Abu Dhabi

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor (MEP) to join our mission critical projects in Abu Dhabi. STS Group is a market-leading Electrical and Instrumentation contractor, working mostly on mission-critical projects for blue-chip clients across Europe and in the UAE.

The Opportunity

As our next Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the construction and engineering activities across the assigned project(s), managing the procurement schedules effectively, the construction program, keeping track of the budget and ensuring our health, safety, quality and sustainability objectives are achieved.

Typical To-Do List

Advise on contractual matters - general and project level Managing subcontract packages and overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers and consultants Look for opportunities to maximise revenue and reduce cost Undertaking internal valuations and production of cost reports Reporting on budgets and variations

What We're Looking For:

Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or similar 5 years relevant experience in construction or engineering industries Ability to meet demanding time and quality targets. Strong analytical skills and ability to clearly present findings Highly computer literate, can pick up new systems with ease (we use COINS) Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills Team player, adaptable & practical Strong attention to detail

Desirable but not Essential

Electrical or mechanical contracting experience Experience on data centre construction projects
