Budget Management: Monitor project budgets throughout the construction lifecycle, tracking expenditures, identifying variances, and implementing cost-saving measures as needed.
Procurement: Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive bids for materials, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to project specifications.
Contract Administration: Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while protecting the interests of the project and stakeholders.
Value Engineering: Identify opportunities for value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality or functionality, proposing alternative materials or construction methods when appropriate.
Change Management: Assess and document changes to project scope, specifications, or requirements, evaluating their impact on project costs and timelines and facilitating the approval process.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and uncertainties that may impact project costs or timelines, developing strategies to mitigate risks and minimize financial exposure.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in quantity surveying or cost management roles within the construction industry, demonstrating proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and procurement.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools such as planswift, autocad, and etc.
Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and financial information accurately.
Knowledge of construction Landscaping materials (Hard landscaping, Irrigation etc).
Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantage. (Invoice, Payment)
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project stakeholders, contractors, and team members.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation, budget tracking, and documentation.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically, anticipate challenges, and propose practical solutions.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and deadlines, while maintaining a commitment to quality and integrity.
