1. Measurement of quantities to support Cost Management and Quantity Surveying activities
2. Preparation of Bills of Quantities, utilizing the Principles of Measurement International (POMI) method of measurement
3. Preparation of cost estimates including quantification from drawings and the preparation of cost plan templates
4. Analyzing tender returns, comparing rates and prices submitted by contractors and inputting into relevant software program
5. Checking and verifying interim valuation claims as submitted by the contractor during the post contract stage
6. Assessing the entitlement of contract variations submitted by the Contractors; negotiating the value of any due variations with Contractors in line with the Conditions of Contract.
7. Reviewing and re-measuring quantities from drawings and on site to verify variation claims submitted by the contractor during the post contract stage
8. Reviewing final account submissions as submitted by the contractor and verifying variation claims against the contract terms and conditions
9. Assisting in the preparation of cost reports and financial statements.
10.Managing the administration of drawings and specifications used for the preparation of cost estimates and bills of quantities.
