Urgent Hiring Quantity Surveyor - Fit-Out / Decoration Services

for Furniture Retail

Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record in the interior fit-out and decoration industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all project costs, from initial estimates and tendering to final accounts and financial reporting. This role requires expertise in preparing accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors, and implementing cost-control strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of materials, market rates in Dubai, and the ability to work collaboratively with designers, project managers, and clients.

Key responsibilities will include:

Preparing detailed cost estimates and BOQs based on drawings, specifications, and project scope. Managing the tender process, including evaluating bids and negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers. Monitoring project expenditures, managing variations, and implementing effective cost-control measures. Preparing and managing interim and final valuations, claims, and payment certificates. Providing regular financial reports and forecasts to the management team and clients. Conducting site visits to verify work progress and quantities. Using value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Requirements:

5+ years of quantity surveyor experience, preferably in furniture/retail. Bachelor's degree?College courses in business administration or a related field are a plus.? Excellent communication and customer - service skills, with a positive and friendly attitude.? Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.? Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.? Strong leadership and communication skills. Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Job Location:

Al Quoz - Al Quoz Industrial Area 3 - Dubai

Working Hours:

9:00 AM - 8:00 PM (Flexible scheduling required).

Job Types:

Full-time, Permanent

Quantity Surveyor:

AED 8,000/month (only base salary ).

Commission:

2% - 5% based on performance.

Annual bonus:

Based on store's annual revenue performance.
