Job Description

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying in the construction industry. Excellent understanding of construction contracts, cost controlling and procurement processes Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials. Proficiency in cost estimation and cost management techniques. Familiarity with contract administration and legal aspects of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation:

Providing detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment during the design phase.

Budget Management:

Monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the construction process to prevent overruns.

Tendering & Contracts:

Preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts with contractors and suppliers.

Contract Administration:

Managing contracts and ensuring payments are accurate and timely.

Risk Management:

Identifying commercial risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.

Quality & Legal Standards:

Ensuring the project meets the required quality and legal standards.

Client Liaison:

Working closely with clients to understand their needs and keep them informed about project costs and progress.

Pre-Contract:

Cost planning, feasibility studies, and preparing tender and contract documents.

During Construction (Post-Contract):

Cost monitoring, managing variations, valuing completed work, and overseeing payments.

Post-Completion:

Assisting with final valuations and helping to resolve any final disputes.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
