Quantity Surveyor Engineer with 10+ years of experience
to manage all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial control for construction and engineering projects. The Quantity Surveyor Engineer will be responsible for measuring quantities, preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and evaluating contractor payments, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget and in compliance with contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bills of quantities (BOQ) based on drawings and specifications.
Monitor project costs, compare actual vs. planned expenditures, and report variances.
Assist in tendering processes, including cost analysis and contractor evaluation.
Review and verify contractor invoices, progress payments, and variations/change orders.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations for compliance with project requirements.
Prepare cost control reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial statements.
Participate in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on budget and scope.
Support in contractual matters including claims, variations, and final account settlements.
