XYZ Interiors LLC is a specialist fit-out contractor delivering high-quality interior solutions . We are seeking an experienced
Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer
to join our growing team and play a key role in the commercial success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and budgets for interior fit-out projects.
Perform accurate quantity take-offs using
PlanSwift
.
Evaluate subcontractor quotations and support procurement activities.
Prepare and review contracts, progress valuations, and cost reports.
Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budgets.
Identify and manage variations and claims.
Coordinate closely with project managers, site teams, and suppliers.
Conduct site visits for progress monitoring and valuation purposes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field
(e.g., Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management).
Open to candidates with varying levels of experience in quantity surveying or cost control within the
interior fit-out industry
.
Experience with PlanSwift is highly preferred
, but candidates willing and able to learn it quickly will also be considered.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is required
for reviewing and extracting quantities from technical drawings.
Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials, finishes, and construction methods.
Proficient in MS Excel and other relevant tools.
Excellent communication, analytical, and time management skills.
Familiarity with local UAE construction codes, practices, and market rates is an advantage.
Must be
currently based in the United Arab Emirates
