Quantity Surveyor

Job Description
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all costs relating to construction projects, from initial estimations to the final figures. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across different sectors, including commercial, residential, and institutional. Reporting directly to the project manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects within budget and time constraints.

- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and other financial documents
- Provide accurate and timely progress reports to stakeholders
- Identify potential risks and offer solutions to mitigate them
- Monitor and track project expenses throughout the construction process
- Evaluate tender and contract documents, ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering for cost-effective solutions
- Participate in project meetings to provide cost-related updates and recommendations
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Certified Quantity Surveyor (CQS) accreditation preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost estimation techniques
- Excellent numerical and analytical abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and cost estimating software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and timely reports
