Roles and Responsibilities: -
Lead, develop and inspire quantity surveyors team regarding to day-to-day operations.
Assist the Project Manager for the tendering process for subcontractors and performs tender evaluations. Preparing of contracts and legal correspondences for subcontractors.
Estimation, Evaluation, negotiations and finalization of variations and claims with consultant and client.
Responsible for profit optimization, planning and analysis.
Preparing Valuation and Cost Comparison, Analysis of Contract Cost and Allowances and Margin and cost analysis and working with Causeway Project Accounting Software (Overture).
Preparing the periodical forecast for labor, plant, material and subcontract costs.
Representing our project's financial status to senior management and attending the management meetings.
Preparing the Final account and Contract administration using FIDIC conditions of contract.
Prepare valuations for interim certificates and final accounts, negotiates settlement amounts and reconciliation statements.
Ensuring that all deal risks and assumptions are correctly defined, assessed, quantified and highlight to management
Responsibility for all aspects of procurement and subsequent supplier contract management including negotiating and monitoring. The primary role is to put together and determine commercial and technical solutions.
Determining the commercial offer and pricing and also controlling and creating effective pricing strategies.
Developing procurement strategies so as to ensure that buying of right products for right price.
Ensure sufficient internal systems / processes are in place to procure the best and most cost effective supplies and services to client.
Working with suppliers to ensure they understand and can comply with the requirements.
Negotiating with supplier's key commercial terms including pricing, discounts, rebates, service levels and key performance indicators.
Qualifications: - Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering Experience: -
Minimum 3 years experience in areas include Surveying construction and structural engineering in Dubai, UAE.
knowledgeable in Cost Estimates and Contracts
Good Communication skills
Ability to complete the project on time and within the budget
