Granitech is looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor / Draftsman with technical expertise in stone, marble, or tile processing / cutting. The ideal candidate will support our projects, and sales teams by preparing accurate quantities, drawings, and technical documentation for ongoing and upcoming projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and detailed material take-offs for stone, advanced ceramic products and marble projects.
Develop accurate shop drawings, cutting lists, edge details, and installation layouts (flooring, cladding, countertops, staircases, etc.).
Review architectural/IFC drawings and extract precise measurements and material requirements.
Coordinate with sales, project engineers, procurement, and factory teams for technical clarifications.
Revise drawings, BOQs, and quantities based on client/consultant comments or site updates.
Prepare quantity comparison sheets and assist with tender pricing and quotations.
Conduct site measurements and verify actual work progress when required.
Maintain updated technical documents, drawing versions, and project records.
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Drafting, or Engineering.
2-5 years experience in QS/Drafting, preferably in stone, marble, or tile manufacturing (strong advantage).
Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of estimation software is an added value.
Strong ability to read and interpret construction and architectural drawings.
High accuracy, technical detailing, and strong numeracy skills.
UAE experience preferred but we welcome new fresher but with experience in their home country.
